Outriders Will Be Available On Xbox Game Pass April 1st

Posted on March 21, 2021March 21, 2021 by Dakota Deitsch

The Outriders demo has been out for few weeks now and allows you to get a taste of what this game has to offer. The demo is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.

Xbox Game Pass

When the game releases on April 1st, Xbox Game Pass holders will be able to access the title. For a new title like Outriders to be included in the Xbox Game Pass so early is very exciting. This will include both the console version of Xbox Game Pass, and cloud-based service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, on Android.

What Is Outriders?

Outriders is a brand new RPG shooter created by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. It is essentially an RPG/shooter hybrid. Combat is brutal and character development is deep and expansive.

There are four different classes in the game. Technomancer specializes in long range support. Pyromancer is a medium range class, specializing in fire techniques. The Trickster class is good for close range hit and runs. The fourth class, Devastator, is a close range tank.

Outriders features four customizable classes
Which class will you choose?

Whichever class you decide on, you can expect a huge amount of abilities. People Can Fly has experience with shooters, so they will offer wonderful shooter gameplay here. If you want to try out Outriders, the demo is still available.

Story and Setting

Outriders takes place on a planet called Enoch. As an Outrider, your job was to colonize a new planet for mankind. However, that proves to be more difficult than anticipated. Your main objective now is to discover what’s making this planet so hostile.

The planet of Enoch is full of dangerous monsters. All of these monsters definitely do not want you on their planet. You can team up with two other friends or play this game solo to take down these creatures.

You’ll be able to create and customize your character, from class to appearance. You are a being called an Altered, which gives you access to your powerful skills as well as some healing abilities.

The game looks great and they’ve already fixed a lot based on demo feedback. April 1st isn’t too far off so we will get our hands on this title soon enough.

Play With Anyone

Unlike most titles, Outriders is fully cross-play. That means that you can play with anyone on any platform. For a game like this, that’s really great news because a lot of people have different consoles right now. Next gen consoles are still difficult to find, but this game is available on last gen consoles, too.

Whether you play on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC, you won’t be left out. With this game being available on Xbox Game Pass day one, it’ll make it that much easier to play this game.
